Please note that HGI has again sponsored two industry awards which will be awarded at the Avren Connected Home Global Summit, April 24-25, 2012, in London. Along with HGI, other consortia such as DLNA, Open IPTV Forum, MoCA, HomeGrid, and WBA are sponsoring industry awards.

The HGI sponsored awards are:

• Award for Innovation in Home Gateway Technology and Design (this could relate to any aspect of HG design at the system, software or component level).

• Award for Innovation in Software Modularity and Applications for Home Gateways.

The awards are selected from among nominees who must apply by March 16 at the following link, by a jury convened by Avren.
